WHAT: On Wednesday and Thursday, the University of California Board of Regents are expected to approve yet another exorbitant executive pay hike for their campus chancellors.
Assemblymember Portantino and Senator Yee will lead a coalition of workers and students to oppose the 15 percent increase.
Some chancellors already make over $400,000 and a recent report released by UC shows that top executives average over $35,000 in additional bonus pay.
