Current and Former Foster Youth

 

WHAT: Town Hall Meeting on Foster Youth Issues: Breaking the Barriers to Higher Education

The town hall meeting will highlight barriers to higher education faced by foster youth. The goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for foster youth to share their experiences through testimonies, statements, questions and comments. Attendees will participate in identifying the obstacles in the current foster care system in relation to attending college.

 

WHEN: Saturday, May 10, 2008

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

Program runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
