District Map
The 44th Assembly District includes the cities of Pasadena, South Pasadena,
Temple City, Duarte, and La Cañada Flintridge; the communities of
Altadena and Mayflower Village; portions of Arcadia and Monrovia; and the
Los Angeles neighborhoods of Eagle Rock, Glassell Park and Highland Park.
The area is nestled up against the San Gabriel Mountains foothills, the
Angeles Crest National Forest and the Arroyo Seco. The district is traversed
by the 210, 2 and 110 Freeways.The population of the district includes 233,711
registered voters. Democrats make up 47 percent of registered voters. Republicans
account for 34 percent, and 14 percent of voters are registered with other
parties or decline to state.The district is demographically diverse. Almost
18 percent of registered voters are Latino and another 9 percent are African
American. Over ten percent are Asian and over two percent are Armenian.
